We aim to place experienced highly qualified Teachers that truly adore their job as a Teacher in London and Overseas.
A Teacher is employed to tutor your children in various subjects in a private household. she concentrates on teaching children, not their physical needs. The Teacher would normally work with children from age 3 upwards. She would not have to undertake the same nursery duties that a nanny would. A Teacher will significantly aid your child’s progress in school.
Duties:
Tutoring English along with other school subjects such as Maths, history, science, art, geography.... depending on the needs of the position.
Tutoring Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, German
Preparation for 7 +, 11+ and 13+ Public school entrance exams
Helping with homework
Teaching your child to read
Liaising with other tutors and/or school teachers, nannies & parents regarding development as required
Teaching musical instruments and other languages if the Governess is bilingual
Working alongside a Nanny or mothers help
Home schooling a child when the family travels frequently
Salaries depend on experience and start from £1000 per week net.
The salaries can be anywhere between £1000- £2000 per week net.
Works hours:
Tutors work on average 4-8 hours per day with 2 days off per week.
Negotiable between the family and teacher
Accommodation
A Teacher would expect her own private bedroom and bathroom or a furnished studio apartment
Meals Provided
A Teacher would expect all meals to be provided when on duty
Holidays Allowance
A Teacher would expect a minimum of 40 days holiday per year this is dependent on the country
