A Private Tutor is a graduate and experienced or qualified teacher that will ensure your child is achieving his full potential academically. She will help the child with homework and work on areas where improvement is needed. A full time Private Tutor has the added advantage of being there every evening after school and will dedicate her time to tutoring your child and providing a detailed Education plan tailored to your child’s needs. In addition to this we also provide Private SEN tutors, they are experienced with children with SEN and would be able to provide a Home schooling program or additional tutoring after school if needed.

To ensure a successful placement we:

1. Understand Student requirements, the Tutor will provide an initial assessment to assess the student’s level. Report will be given to parents detailing areas where improvement is necessary, realistic goals are set
2. All Tutors undergo a thorough interview discussing their teaching techniques and background helping us choose the best candidate for each role with the right strengths and experience.
3. References are thoroughly checked and qualifications verified
4. Constant Monitoring:

We advise parents to request that Tutors compile a monthly report listing:

• the subject area that was studied that month
• results of any assessments carried out including short tests
• the student's progress and areas where improvement is needed
• what will be studied the following month

The tutor will focus solely on tutoring, homework assistance and the academic progress of the child.She will generally not undertake any nursery duties.

Salary of a Tutor

Tutors generally work (30 – 40 hours per week) salaries vary between £800-£1500 per week. Salaries depend on working hours, qualifications, location and experience. Planning time needs to be taken into account.

If a live in Overseas Tutor is required Private separate accommodation should normally be offered such as a studio.
